Never spend money that you don't have.
Example: "Ouhhh, that AUD300 pair of jeans looks nice ! And it's on sale, better grab it now though I don't have any money now, but heyyyy, my paycheck will be deposited at the end of the month"
Don't do that. No money, don't buy. Wait till the money comes in. Then buy.
