home-made pizza !

made a pizza for dinner today with my sister.

here's a picture of the pizza made:

pizza kakya and deli !










the pizza sauce is damn good, my sister made it.

ingredients:
a half of medium sized onion, chopped
2 cloves of garlic, chopped and crushed
one can of whole tomatoes
2 tablespoons of tomato puree
a bit of dried oregano
a bit of dried dried thyme
a bit of dried dried parsley
a bit of dried paprika powder
salt, black pepper and sugar to taste.

for toppings its up to you really.
we made this one with :
crabstick
hot-diggity-dog
green pepper
mushrooms
sliced onions
pineapples
mozzarella cheese on top of the other toppings.

for the pizza base/dough/crust:
a 9-inch pizza base from giant. pizza italiano or something it says on the box.

prep time: unsure
cook time: bake in an oven at 200 degrees celcius till the cheese looks good or if im not mistaken they call it golden.

generous toppings, one-helluva-tasty-sauce, supermarket crust. results = a superbly good pizza. (=

i tell you people reading this post, you should try it to make the pizza yourself. its good i tell you. superb.

have fun making a pizza people.

and by the way, we have another one chilled in the freezer ready to be baked in the oven whenever we feel like eating it. yeahuu !

so here it goes. eight random facts :

one. most of the handphones that i had used are hand-me-downs. including both of the phones that i am using currently. i only had 2 phones that was bought especially for me, and both are broken. ive used if im not mistaken, 8 phones all together. so that makes it 6 hand-me-downs phones.

two. i would like to be good at cooking. watching a whole lot of jamie oliver's shows and the afc channel, (channel 703 on astro) has made me interested to be a really good cook.

three. i drive around in a black chevy aveo with WLS 49 as the registration plates.

four. i am still using my 2 year old basketball shoes eventhough its in a horrid condition to be worn due to too much tennis during my pasum days. and still its being used for tennis mainly.

five. i just cleaned up my room last two weeks, and now its messy again. dammit.

six. i would like to go to singapore for a weekend for a holiday with friends. that should be fun. singapore, with friends, uuuuuu.

seven. i bought a pair of nike shoes when i was in london but i hardly wear them, its only been worn not more than 25 times i guess. it looks nice, but i dont think theres a lot of outfit that i have that can go with it.

eight. i have two toothbrushes. i bought the second one after i thought that the first one is missing or i had misplaced in somewhere. the first toothbrush ironically, was in my backpack all the while i searched for it, and only to be found not long after i bought the second toothbrush.

im not self-praising when i say that this barbecued chicken wings is yummy. im sure others who tried it would say its yummy.

ajep(right) and kimie(centre) organized their own barbecued chicken wings eating competition. u can guess who is the winner. jaz(left) acted as the referee.

hot in the heat of the chicken wings eating competition, baizura or more famously known as bai checked out how things are going for the two eaters.

it happened last week, at my house. suppose to start at 2000hrs, but a few decided to show up early in the likes of Kimie, Ajep, Adi, Din and Bai. the bbq pit wasnt even lit up yet. wan had already arrived as i called him up asking him to help me with the fire-starting and barbecue-ing.
next to show up is Lii and Munir if im not mistaken. they had been dropped-off by Athir as he had to head back home for a family gathering and he did came back later. a while later Oje arrived as well as Keroro and Yon. others such as Mirul, Pian, Yanie, Fain, Haz, Naqeeb, Afiq and Wanie arrived not long after. Last to arrived was Bob, he had to be picked up at KL Sentral by Wan. started at around 1930hrs and it lasted well into the night.

it was fun. it was good. the food is good, at least i think it is. a downside is the last-minute cancellations made by a few people. i am looking forward to do it again. whenever possible.

i would want to thank my sister for the ideas on food and marinates, mom and dad for the financial support, my uncle for one of the bbq pit, Aiman who cant make it, for the other bbq pit.

all in all, it was an excellent night and filled with

a question

i wonder if a human being can die due to too much sleeping ? if he does eat and drink you know, can one die from over-sleeping ? hmm, i wonder.

what i miss about boarding school

what i miss about boarding school:

1. there's always friends to hang out with. you wont be left alone.
2. you dont need to spend much to hang out with friends, infact you dont have to spend a single cent, walk out the door, walk into the next room, and start hanging out. you can talk, eat, drink, gossips. whatever shits. no driving required which means youre not spending on petrol, parking and things like that.
   
3. you'll always have meals with at least one friend.
   
4. everything is planned out. this hour you do this, this hour you''ll do that, this hour you'll do this. not much thinking and planning required.
5. going for basketball/football/tennis during the sunny evenings.
6. you'll be looking forward to holidays or those overnight outings.
   
7. cant think of anymore.

7. a dslr camera. preferably nikon so that i can share the lenses that my sister has.

exams over, holidays started

today is 9th nov 2007 and the ive just completed my first semester here at taylors business foundation. exams were from 5-th to 7th november, and now i am a free man. 6 weeks of holidays is going to be a long time. should be fun ! the exams are okay, econs okay, bcp so-so, english so-so, but accounts, is very stupid. if i passed the final exam paper only, i wud be happy as i can be. because i think i will fail the paper. i cant answer accounts well.

raya seems much more fun with an alomost professional photographer around ! =)

it is now the 6th day of syawal. and the mood for raya is still in the air. what i've noticed this raya is that with an almost professional photographer around, raya seems much more fun. not to say that raya is not fun the previous years, but with an almost professional photographer, my sister that is, is around, it makes a whole lot of difference. the cousins, or me i should say, who'd send out sms'es a lot more than i talk while im at kampung, would talk a lot more i think, with relatives. the mere presence of that little but heavy black box in the hands of my sister for her to take pictures with excites us, the relatives, to talk about recent happenings and also to pose for the camera. in a way, i think this shows what technology can do to us: bring people closer together which is already a WIDE known fact.

i drove my sister around to search for a suitable location to do a photoshoot this raya, and we end up at Pantai Minyak Beku in Batu Pahat, Johor. its not much of a beach, but the almost professional photographer said that its a good enough location to do some picture taking activities. as there's only the two of us there for the first 30-45 minutes its me who's got to be the model. haha, lucky me. i'll post some of the pictures here when my sister is done processing and re-touching the pictures. hehe. bored that there's just the two of us there, my sister called a few more relatives to join the photoshoot. and they came, 3 of my cousins, to pose for the camera.

by the way, for a glimpse of the pictures taken by my sister, check out http://www.flickr.com/nadio. to those who knows me who wish to acquire her photo taking services for any event, such as wedding reception or things in that similar kind of nature can contact me, either through here or through my phone. and i can ask her if she wants to do it, it's like a hobby for her, and she already got a full-time day job, so not everyday she can go around and take pictures. but it must be accompanied with RM's.

back to raya. raya this year is fun, as i said earlier. went back kampung, collected duit raya, and plus my birthday is one day before raya. so i got presents from mom and dad, and extra duit raya from my siblings. a normal but fun raya, the only thing thats not good about this raya is that there's only two days off of college. the friday before raya, and monday after raya. so the holidays is short. aarrrghh. got two open houses yesterday, oje's house and ajep's house. one in pj pne in wangsa maju. stayed at oje's for an hour i think, and head to wangsa maju at 4, and hell, i took a wrong turn as i had no sense of direction when it comes to streets in kl, and got stuck in a jam. arrived at ajep's and the people there are ready to head out to other houses in the area. head off to edabooty's house in keramat, with only her and her siblings at home. she served us and offered to treat us pizza. head off to wangsa maju's big pizza hut and had our pizzas. and head back home after the pizza treat from edabooty.

as for my life now, i am once again back at taylors college, subang, but im no more taking sciences. its business foundation for me, and this is the third time round for me taking foundation courses and i hope that it'd be the last time i have to do foundation. exams is in two weeks time and i havent preapred a thing for it. college life is fun here. almost the same as the fun that i had enjoyed in PASUM.

pasum people are the people that i am missing most now. when can we meet up again ?

i want to post a new post. but i dont know what i should write about. i have no what-so-ever idea at all in this empty head of mine. arghhhh.

once again ive left this blog of mine unattended for i-dont-know how many months. ive been meaning to update my blog, but there's always something going on that makes me unable to update it. and since i really been wanting to post a new post, i decided tonight might just be the night. stuck at home, and those who are online on my msn and ym are the ones who i don't chat with much. i was browsing through friendster a minute ago, and i browse through pages of friends. and i realized that, this is really a small world, or malaysia is a small country. this friend knows this friend who knows another friend of mine. how far the connection is, i think there must be at least one common/mutual friend between 2 absolutely different people. its funny in a way. and im missing my pasum friends too. thats another reason for me posting this post.

pasum people. almost all of the above are the ones that i miss. and some others who are not in the picture.

much have changed since the last post that i posted a few months back. i went a few places after pasum ended. i enjoyed, and now, im back studying again. i will try my best to keep this blog updated. i dont really care people read it or not, i just want to. so yeah, i'll try my best.

babblings.

okay. so. not many that had been done. clean my cabinet a bit on saturday where i couldnt sleep and stayed up till around 4pm, the cabinet where i keep my comics. all the krekos H2s conan and stuffs. kids comics yeah i noe, but those are from secondary school. just cant throw em away. finished up arranging stuffs in the cabinet when i realised theres another pile of krekos which i should haf put in the cabinet too. arrh, next time maybe.

while cleaning up the cabinet i also found some letters and raya cards from my secondary friends. i suddenly realised that im not that good of a friend. at least i guess so. i got this letter and this raya card and i dont really think that i replied it any of it. and im guessing that i need to reply em someway somehow. and i feel like a j*rk for not replying. i myself take things for granted. haha. i have to cahnge myself. its not good of me to do things like this. aha. aiyoh. anything lah, i dont really know. but i do need to reply those cards, if not all of em, some of em is good enough i guess.

and ironically, i found my bsn account book a day after i went to the bank to make a new one. damn thats stupid. ironic. thats how the world goes, you do something and youll end up finding out that that thing doesnt really need to be done. and i have to pay rm20 for that new book. haha. stupid me.
got to get some sleep, going to catch sumo lah tomorrow with those pasum people that i loveeee~~

hoping to be back active at this thing

okay. let see, the last post ive posted dated 27th january 2007 if im not mistaken. now is 4th may 2007. so that means ive not posted up any new posts for about 3 months and a few days. and my thats quite a long period of time.

okay, so what has happen during the 3 months ? lots. busy with pasum during that period of time. i wont be posting much like what id done in the past, maybe ill be posting like once or twice a week, depending on the events that happened during the course of the week.

pasum is over for me and is over for a whole bunch of people too. the 10 months or so that ive stayed there, provide me with knowledge, not just academically. i realize that there is much to learn from others, from those that surrounds me, day and night. different people has different kind of knowledge. they have their own area of expertise. its fascinating to know more about things that i know so little before. im hoping for the best for my results eventhough i know it will not be good. i just hope, someway somehow it will turn out better than expected.

malam emas. pasum's annual dinner. it was fun. well, i dont really care about whats the decoration like, or who is performing on the stage. i mostly go around and took pictures. =) thanks ma. it wont be fun without you helping out. =) perhaps, maybe i will post up the pictures. im feeling kinda lazy to post the pictures up. resizing and all. aha. oh well. till the next post. haf fun people.
