and i thought it was from PNB, about the actuary thing, but still hey !!! i got to enter UM. i am too happy about it. i feel like i want to shout. fara is happy hearing bout it from me. maybe because i was like "bersemangat" a bit. at long last, i got an offer that i like. syukur, alhamdullillah, thanks to Allah for giving me another chance, for letting me being offered into UM and for letting me to be away from taylors(cos my marks is aint that high). *happy* oh and yeah, i have to register before friday. shits, shirts ? not yet. slacks, outsized all of my previous ones. i have to go shopping i guess. chiaow.

now im sad :(
i am truly missing fara so much. shes only been back to jasin for like 12 hours and i am missing her like hell. what can i do to stop this ? anyone ? any idea ? its not that i dont want to miss her, its just so that i wont feel sad thinking bout it. anything to do ? feel like playing CS to take my mind off her for a while but tomorrow got class. that sucks, after 2 weeks at home, i seem to not wanting to go back to that fu*king boring unhappy place for me. for others who are going to go there, better lower your expectations, cause its not going to be as easy as you thought and its not going to be as fun as you thought. thats what i feel bout that place. shits. aiyah. the place just sucks to me. never been happy there. sad story. as for now im hoping for my results to be at least okay and not bad, and for me to be happy at that place and for the holidays to come as fast as it can, so that i can see fara again. emm. better go to sleep. its late. and PNB didnt send me a letter. :( . only now i accept the fact that im not going to get a letter from them. -end-

: )
sorry no post bout my third day, eventhough there isnt anyone that is interested in it. the other day, wanted to put up the post, but the site is down, so i cant put up the post bout the third day in korea. as for today . i went out with fara. kind of last minute actually, got up around 1100 hrs from a call from fara and then asked ma whether i have to go to the wedding today or not. she said i can go tomorrow. so, tomorrow im going to the wedding and as for today, i went out with my dearest and beloved fara. we decided to go to mid valley. we met up at KL Sentral at about 1320 hrs and off we go to mid valley by ktm. :) . as we arrived, we went straight to the cinema counters which were extremely crowded. more crowded than a pasar malam. had to wait in line for about em,
30 mins i would say before it is our turn to buy the tickets. decided to watch Benchwarmers but the only seats available are seperate seats, shoots, unlucky, then we decided to go for 16 blocks. bought our tickets, went to the record shop next to pets wonderland and straight after we entered the cinema hall. the movie was okay. kind of slow at the beginning (what fara said and i agree) but as it goes on it gets more and more interesting. but the plot is somehow expected. come on, how many movies there is where another guy tries to frame another guy by using a tape recorder ? its kinda lame . come on isnt there anything else that they could use ? and after the movie we went for some ice cream at baskin robbins. fara had peanut butter chocolate and i had a chocolate chip cookie dough. nyum nyum. straight after the ice creams, its time to get back home. went to kl sentral again by ktm and bought the putra tickets to wangsa maju and taman bahagia. sent her to wangsa maju. as we arrived at wangsa maju, we did what we always do, sit on the bench, talk a bit, being goofy, said our goodbyes-for-a-while. we did took a lot of pictures today, usually its only one or two or three, but today its like more than ten i think. guess we have nothing else better to do. let a couple of trains pass by before i got on one myself. chose a train, said goodbye, gave her a hug and a peck on the cheek and off i go into the train. she watched me go and i watched her back. (duhh). and that is today !! its a happy happy day, eventhough fara is going back to jasin tomorrow. but we had a happy happy day. at least i did !! love ya bee. mmuahh !!
p/s: i'll put up a post bout my third day when i feel like it. as for now, i got something else better to do ! l8r !

pictures from day two !
day two in korea
as for day two. woke up in the morning. had breakfast at the hotel's restaurant. went up to the lobby to wait for Rose, our tour guide for today and tomorrow. we met her at the lobby, went out to her van, and we're off to some serious and professionally guided sight seeing of seoul. first we went to the Blue House, or the president's residence. more or less like the White House la, but the structure s not, it has more traditional design i guess, and the rooftop is blue, that's why i guess they call it the Blue House. there are guards in the middle of the roads, standing for hours in somewhat looked similarly like a box or phone booth. except, there's no glass. then after about 20 mins there, we went off to the Gyeongbukgong Palace. (i hope i got the name right) there, we witness the guards changing ceremony, which is quite long, so we decided to leave it an continued on inside. the palace is now more of a museum, you can see, where the emeperor sleeps, where the queen sleeps, where the emperor or king should i say do his work, where do they stay during winter, where do they stay during summer blah blah. what Rose told us is that in Korea, people are still looking at women a rank lower than men, which was quite a shock, as i thought there's no more of those left in the world. the queen(s) area are situated at the further most inside part of the palace, so that they ant go anywhere, and if they want entertainment, they can stroll around in their garden at the back of their rooms. and a smart thing hat they had done is that they lay out the rocks on the way to see the king at his office uneven, on purpose. this Rose said that is so that people would look down to be careful while walking at those pathways, and another thing is that when you look down, it shows that u respect the king. and there are doors at almost the half way point, where they put about 5 inches high of cement so that people would look down in order to step over the cement. this is also so that people would look down and in a way, respecting the king. smart, dont you think ? after we finished exploring the palace, we went on to the National Folk Museum of Korea (again, i hope i got the name right), where you can see and learn about Korea, since the bronze age. and now i know, that the Koreans are mostly from Mongolia. i think so, i guess. then they have this figurines which are super duper cool, they build cities and men on horses and all. how i wish i could get those kind of things. next, time for food. Rose brought us to a halal restaurant located in Itaewon. we ate there and we're off to an amethyst factory. its some kind of rocks, that are pricey. actually its not a factory, but a store, they tell you that you will go the factory after we stop by the shop, but when we were done there, we were shown the exit straight away. sheesh. next to a ginseng "factory". yup, just as before, its a shop. and dad bought something for grandpa there. then we're off to doota. which is a hip and happening shopping complex in Seoul. the shopping complex there are unique, they dont have the shutters like we have here in Malaysia, instead they just put their products out, and if the shopping complex is closing, they'll just put a piece of cloth on top of their products. arh, you wont understand this. you have to ssee it for yourself. then, they have this concert outside. which intrigues me, about 50 metres back there is another concert, and another 50 metres back, another concert. like, how many concerts do you want to have ? all of these concerts are in front of malls. after we'd done walking around, oh yeah, the shopping mall trip wasn't with Rose, and after that, we went back to the hotel. end of day two.
as for today, had a blast of a time with Fara at mid valley, its been like a long time since i met her, and today was a cure for my "rindu"ness after a long long while. (in malay they say "pengubat rindu ?") watched x-men III at the cinemas, then had lunch at little penang. after that, went for a slice of cake since yesterday was Fara's birthday. hanged out there, talked bout the old times and then were off to the bookstore downstairs. Fara wanted to eat a box of Rocky. found it, she bought it and went upstairs to find a place to sit. oh, before the rocky thing, we went to the centre court to take a picture at the over the hedge's promotion, then suddenly the emcee said :
emcee : ooh, boyfriend girlfriend want to join ? whats your name ?
me : fadhli
emcee : and you ?
fara : fara
emcee : how old are you ?
fara : 16
emcee : so you must be at least 16 too
me : emm, 17
emcee : oh okay, please go up to the stage.
okay okay, its not what the emcee said, its the conversation that went on. so, we went up the stage, after he found 12 contestants, he said that we have to do a wild chicken sound. say what ? did the sound, got a goodie bag. and Fara's friends was there, hehe. they're going to be talking bout you in school bee !! baack to sit thing. then we sat, she ate, i ate, rocky i mean, talk a bit and then off to the station. went to sentral, bought tickets for putra, then sent her to wangsa maju, took pictures, said our goodbyes and its time for me to head home. it was good, im sayang dkat fara. i dont know whether she's going to read this or not, i think so she'll read kut. oh and even though that today was a cure for my rindu, it made me miss her more. T_T .
end of day two, and end of today's adventure. i'll put up the pictures in the next post. later.

the first day in korea.
my last update was when i was in korea and i said that i'll put more in the next post. or i didnt. so what. well this is next post. emm . so, to me, korea overall is great, clean air, almost no pollution, nice view everywhere, beautiful girls, good subway network and lots more. but there are some lows such as the inability of understanding and speaking english from almost all the koreans that i ran into, they dont cater for tourist where they expect that every person in the world who ever goes to korea will understand their language and their "tulisan" almost all the signage and directions there are in korean, except for those near to tourist attractions, but if u happen to live in and around a tourist attraction site then it's ok, but if you dont live near it, then it'll be hard.
okay, for the trip itself, we, me mom and dad, went to klia by car, my brother sent us there, checked in our bags, went into the boarding area while it is still about like 2300 hours where we are suppose to board at 0045 hrs, that means that we have around about 2 hours to waste. went to the satellite building even though the gate is not at the satellite building, went to the bookstore, and had some supper at the BK there. as it reaches around 0030 hrs, we went back to the main building, and we entered the gate for boarding. after we had handed in our tickets and received our boarding passes, we waited at another room before we actually board the plane. there, out of the blue, an old korean lady came up to me and this is the conversation that went on :
old korean lady : excuse me, that malaysian phone ? (as that time i was trying to send my last msg before going to korea to fara)
me : yup, this is a malaysian phone.
old korean lady : oh, my son's phone number jilo(0) wan(1) tlee(3) ......( a whole sequence of number which starts form 8, which means the number belonged to someone in sabah or sarawak right ?)
me : oh, you want me to call it ?
old korean lady : (she kept repeating the number she said before)
me : oh okay, wait, i dial it for you. (i dialed it and gave the ph to her)
old korean lady : oh okay. (as her son answered, she spoke korean which i couldnt understand)
old korean lady : (as she finished talking) here, im so sorry. (and she went away as the gate is opened)
and the significance of the story is. hell, why did she said sorry ? isn't it suppose to be thank you ? that was like so sad. i helped her, and all i got was an apology ? haha. kind of weird to me. heh, all is fine. no harm's done. but it's funny.
board the plane, got to incheon airport, and Rena (the tour agent) was already waiting. we went out towards the van, only to be halted by my mom's question about mobile phones. malaysian mobile phone mostly cant be used there, you have to rent a phone that is usable in korea from a mobile operator there. and this is when dad asked how long have Rena been waiting. and she said :
Rena: oh, not very long, only about 30 minutes.(a bit broken)
haha, weird, 30 minutes, not long ? hehe. koreans are weird. oh yah, Rena was cute by the way. haha. ;) after the phone was rented, we went back towards the exit and we were on our way towards the hotel we are suppose to be living at. the trip to the hotel took about 1 hour plus. we arrived at the hotel but it was more like a studio. if you know what a studio is anyways. rested there for about 1 hour and we were out and about searching for FOOD !! went downtown by subway(they call the train subway there) which costs about 900 won and it didnt took long. but the journey towards the platform for boarding the train did take long. 5 flight of stairs, and the stairs are not short. damn long. but there are escalators, a few of em at least.
we searched high and low for a place where we an eat, mcdonalds to be exact, but we managed to find a burger king and thankfully there was fish based burger there. ate and went back on the road to see more of korea. oh and yeah, the chilli sauce there costs us 100 won, which is 40 malaysian cents. after enough sight seeing we decide to go back to the hotel and get some rest as tomorrow a whole new adventure will begin(i put this in because it sounds cool). went back to the hotel, relax and tomorrow comes.
as for today, went out to klcc with wan, pian, din, alan and pokwe for a movie. watched the da vinci code. never read the book, but i think its quite good. wwent there, waited, watched the movie, ate at BK, and then back home.
this post is kind of long. it might be boring. till the next one .
