last week in review

there has been a lot of happenings the past week. starting from sunday, 23/7/2006, my elder brother held his akad nikah ceremony at the bride's house in sungai penchala which the house is extremely beautiful and also extremely big. went there from kelana jaya at 1015 hrs and arrived there at about 1055 hrs a.m, right on time for the function to start. i was "ditugaskan" to carry one of the dowries, i had to hold a large sum of money as the "wang hantaran" for the bride. arrived home at about 1430 hrs and i head directly towards my bed and slept till about 2000 hrs end of the nikah story.

the next day, monday, was the day the bride held her reception, the reception was at Shang-Ri La hotel in Kuala Lumpur and the event was due to start at 2000 hrs and i had to make my way there alone from PASUM only to start at 1730 hrs and to rely on the public transportation. took a taxi to a Putra LRT station and changed to board the KL Monorail to a station which i forgetten it's name, and had to walk for about 10 mins to reach the hotel. went up to a room to change my outfit and went downstairs for the ceremony to start. the event was grand, with only a silght hitch where some of my family members had to sit outside the hall which i thought was crazy ? some stubborn people decided to sit at the tables provided for the groom's side and wont budge eventhough they had been asked to move by the hosts. even the Yand Dipertuan Agong came to the reception. i wonder if Siti's reception with Datuk K this august will see the presence of the YDPA. end of the bride's reception story.

most people say, that this life we are living has it's own unwritten rule, people say as we gain one, we'll lose one. that's exactly what happened to me and my family. in the midst of joy and happiness surrounding the arrival of a new family member, my grandma past away, Inallillahi Wa Inailaihi Rajiun. she was sick for and fought for her life for 15 days before she went on. she was diagnosed with sephysaemia(spell check), a type of blood related illness, where her blood got infected with "kuman". she past away on thursday, 27/7/2006 after Maghrib. to all Muslims reading this, please recite her a surah Al-Fatihah. next, on sunday, 29/7/2006 was the reception for the groom's side who is my brother. it was held at dewan perdana felda at the outskirts of KL, a little bit away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. the ceremony started at 2000 hrs, with guests were starting to arrive even at 1945 hrs. the reception went as planned and the fun part was when friends of my brother decided to make a song, instead of a speech to give to my brother. they sang a malay song which i forgot it's title and an english song, i'm leaving on a jet plane, but they changed the lyrics a bit to they're leaving on a jet plane, as my bro and his wife are going to live in London for a couple of years. the reception ended and arrived home at about 0100 hrs. helped my bro to unwrap the gifts given by the guests and then straight to bed. how i wish fara can be there, but my dad told me that i can invite friends only at about 1600 hrs, which was too late. he did asked me a lot earlier but i didnt think that fara would be home at that time. i love you fara. take care in jasin. end of my bro's reception story.

and for now, im back in PASUM in this boring computer lab where they are teaching Microsoft Excel, which is god damn boring. now i have to go. have to reach mid valley to accompany izzey to meet up with her friends and haf to be back here before 1400 hrs in time for this afternoon's lectures. laters !!

computer lab !!

i am now in the computer lab in PASUM where it is now the period for Computer Class. try to guess what they're trying to teach me here ? Flash ? too far. Photoshop ? still far astray. Microsoft Access ? yeah rite, maybe next semester, if there's still is computer class next semester. you'll never guess it, they are teaching me how to use Microsoft PowerPoint, which is a complete waste of time, as this program i think is only suitable for kids to learn. we're adults, tennagers, and yet, we have to learn how to use PowerPoint is some kind of a joke to me. come on, give us harder stuff to learn, something that we all havent known yet, something new, something interesting, something more adventurous. PowerPoint is plain old boring with a capital B !! last week's class ? we have to work with Microsoft Word, hahah !! laugh, laugh, you guys can laugh, even i am laughing here doing all these stuffs. come on. this thing is B.O.R.I.N.G !! guess this is all for now. got to get back to my halfly done presentation, got to add some transition to the slides, and slide 3 has to be animated. urghh !!

nothing much to add only that i added a new gizmo to my tech family. i got an iPod !!! huahhahaha. laters, got to go back to KUAZ

my current state in PASUM :
->enjoying, studying and playing.
->finally i got classmates
->and i like my classmates
->lectures are okay except for chemistry 1 and physics 2
->my addiction to tennis is resurrecting
->got to know some cool new friends through mirul and kimie
->my days are still relaxing, but worse is yet to come
->boring when i have nothing to do, as i dont have any source of entertainment there except for the tv at the cafe where i have to go down two floors which only shows tv3 and world cup matches
->feeling jealous of this on guy who is talented at basketball but he's form RPKJ
->kind of alim guy :)

my current state generally as i am posting this post :
->i am a person who expects to be appreciated when i had done something for someone, a simple thank you is more than enough for the hassles that i need to go through for something to be done, and sometimes i am mad when people is not appreciative
->happy because i just got back from meeting fara :))
->sad because it'd be a while for i would be able to see her again :((
->cold as the air-conditioner is switched on
->bored as there is nothing that i can do :|
->wishing that i can see fara again soon
->having the urge of buying something tennis related, either a ball clip or a new grip or an absorber
->between two minds either which should i choose a 30G ipod which i have to cash in a sum of RM 800 or settle for a 4G ipod nano where i only need to cash in a sum of about RM 400 to 500.
->wanting a new handphone. the ones now are kind of boring. hehe :)
->thankful because of the classmates that i got in PASUM, looks fun
->feeling like meeting up with old friends from Lenggong
->wanting someone's phone number
->wanting to eat roti canai
